He looks good.

But, ugh, I HATE perimeter shading...

You should give pillow shading a try, gust guess where the light wont hit, the farther away from the light, the bigger and darker the shadow.

Pillow shaded like Solar Sonic, lol
I like the perimeter shading because it makes them still look decently shaded and easy to control how the shading is. By pillow, you gotta use 5-7 different shades and hope not to fuck up small pieces. If it were big pictures, I support that idea to make it great, but on something like a sprite... I dunno.

Kinda looks too much like sonic,wanna change a thing since he isn't a hedgehog(Change the spikes forms and the mouth form).
Maybe Paint the head red like the hands annd body,looks pretty weird.
You can change red to purple so you can change the head to red.

Thanks guys, I was thinking on changing, maybe add that yellow stripe after recoloring his head, we can call it a weird condition that goes away in the comic, perhaps??? WAIT! I HAVE THE ANSWER!

When he's taken from his world, he'll change to all red with a purple stripe! <3
