It's fine, 3 years difference is accepted by the public. 5 years is the max difference, which of course, they don't want to see a 21 dating a 16 year old.

Then she obviously doesn't love him, if she loved him and he loved her, then they wouldn't be doing anything that foolish. If he's innocent, then they're throwing an innocent man in jail because they listen to the girl's word immediately, even if she's lying. If he really is guilty, then shame on him.

He would be considered a pedophile for doing such, when she's 17 she is allowed to have sex with no problems in the relationship, 16 is when it's her choice but if her parents want, they can file something against him since they still have custody of her. 18 she's legally able to handle it all herself and the two can move in together with no problems (of course people can worry) and the parents have nothing to hold on them (legal wise unless they do some digging).

Sorry, but a 3 year age distance is a bit much for me...

Better yet, this is how I see things:

Ages 13-17: Max difference (1 year)
18-21: Max difference (2 years)
22-??: No max

Of course, thats just how I see it.

I have my own chart:
Males:
13 years must date 12-13
14 years must date 12-14
15 years must date 13-15
16 years must date 14-16
17 years must date 14-17
18 years must date 15-18
19 years must date 16-19
20 years must date 16-20
21 years must date 17-21

of course, if they wanna date older chicks, that's fine.
Color chart indicates the amount of sexuality included, red is kissing max, orange is a gamble, but no sex, green you're good to go but must know the risks and consequences if anything goes down to it.

lol, you guys must have different rules regarding sexual acts in America. In Aus, under two under 16's can do it, but not an under 16 and an older. 16-18 can have intimate relationships, but not 16 and 19+. Once you reach 18 however, your free to do whatever, as long as they are between 16 and up.
