Hmm Learn a Lesson Thread
Let's tell each other true stories (or fake, just let us know) about people and their misfortunes (or fortunes) and see if we all can learn a lesson from it! =D

True Story
This sailor was about to deploy to some land out there, maybe Guam... dun remember...
Anyways before he left for deployment, he met the love of his life, they got married, and had a kid too! They seemed very happy and as he was deployed, he'd send money to her (because Seperation bonus, Overseas bones, etc can pile up, especially the higher in rank you are). Then one day he wanted to visit them but didn't have enough money at the time and asked if he could have some money from her. Well.. she left him in the parking lot... yes, all that time and money... he was heart broken.

Two months later he meets the love of his life!

Well? Learn something from this? I know I have, lol

One time I thought it would be funny to steal a fire extinguisher.
Well I got caught 5 minutes later and never regreted it.
It was a bad feeling being taken home in a cop car but it taught me not to do stupid shit like that anymore.

The other day I was driving in the rain and someone stopped in front of me, I had little time to react and I swear I was a hair away from hitting this car. Keep in mind I've only been driving a week. When in rain drive slow and never ride on someones ass.
