The Last Airbender (Shyamalan, 2010) — The other Avatar movie

See yourself on the big screen -- just go to the open casting call for a new M. Night Shyamalan movie this Saturday, Jan. 24.

“The Last Airbender,” a soon-to-be film adaptation of the Emmy-winning animated television series, “Avatar: the Last Airbender,” will be directed and produced by Shyamalan.

The auditions take place at the Wachovia Center, 3601 South Broad Street, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Filming will happen in the Philadelphia area.
“Airbender” will star actor/singer Jesse McCartney and Jackson Rathbone of “Twilight.” The movie will debut July 2, 2010.

He made a few ok movies (Signs and another one that I can't remember) But The Village was crap and his others have been lack luster to say the least.

I thought this movie was gonna be bad... that is until I saw the teaser trailer.

I'm excited for it now, though I know that anything can happen in the movie industry.

I've seen a lot of trailers that are better than the real movie, I'm not getting my hopes up.

Also, screw you M. Night for plastering your name on that title, you sure as hell didn't come up with the idea.

You did realize before making that comment that he had to buy the rights to the movie to be able to make it right? =/

Yes, I did, but now people are going to think he came up with the cartoon to (stupid people, but people none the less.)
