Should i make a new URL for TCForums? So that the link that Kat has given out would be null and void? it is currently: www.tonycomix.com/forum
i think maybe just to be safe, change it to www.tcforum.com instead, it's open and free. But for us to do this, we need to let our less active members know about the new locations, AND i'd have to edit on my site the link to the forum.
So what do you think, vote and post why, we have until January 15, 2007 for the final answer, i hate to have a long running poll, just feels in the way, ya know?
This isn't JUST because of Kat, perhaps the new address may spring more members, i mean those who accidentally go to tcforums.com could stumble here and decide to stick even though they were mistakened, it's a simpler and less restriced url as well! Saves some time in typing, ya know?

I doubt it would keep Kat away, it may for a while but all she'd have to do is do a google search for TCForums, tonycomix or even trapninja (the link is in your siggy on Quizilla) and she'd either find the forum or your website (which has the link on it anyway). Plus, I kinda think it might get confusing and we may have problems with not-so-active members getting lost in the whole thing.
(btw, I'm not trying to be negative, it's just my input )
On the otherhand, it might be what we really need to get new members! One thing that might also help us get new members (I know this is unrelated in a way) is if we take away the need to log in to view the forum.
I doubt new people will join if they can't even view the forum (I'm talking about people who just stumble across the forum, not friends or whatever of members that were asked to join or whatever) Anyhoo, that's....maybe a little more than 2 cents but there it is!

actually, since (if i do) i am moving the forum to a new url, it will make all links void.
Like I said in the message from Kat thread, she's unstable. Kat probably wrote that message after cutting herself and when she woke up the next day and logged onto MySpace she just realized what she wrote. I doubt anybody's going to do anything since if a person who barely knew Kat (me) found out she's unstable, her friends would have known long before. Knowing this, they're most likely aware of what Kat did here and will refrain from involvement. Besides, it's been four days now and nothing's happened.
