If you have a main object centered, use Photoshop and select the wand tool. Highlight/select the background then delete the selected area and you'll see a checkered area behind your object (avy); this means it worked, but make sure the layer isn't locked. When you upload it to Photobucket or anything else, it'll show as a white background, but when you finally go to use it, voila, it's see-through.

It'll make each line way too big if you make them any bigger. It'll screw it up and make it look silly.
