Super Mario Bros. 3 Fanclub

This is the most greatest game of all time. I've remembered when I've played this game since I was 5 years old and I just loved this game.

Not only the graphics were a state of the art back than, but I also love the sweet music tunes as well. This game has even introduced some unique power ups that Mario can use throughout the game. My favorite power up is either the Tanooki Mario or the Sledge Hammer Mario.

The purpose of this thread is discuss about not only your thoughts about the whole game, but you can also discuss about some trivia, your favorite power ups, musics, enemies, your tricks etc. Just talk about anything related to this incredible game. You can even talk about the original 8-bit NES version, the classic 16-bit Super NES remake, or the most recent GBA remake of the game too!

Remember this thread only dedicates to Super Mario Bros. 3 ONLY and NOT any other Nintendo or Mario game.

And one last thing, all members are required to put this banner in their sigs to show your dedication to this game!

smb3 is a great game, I liked it on the snes.
I would consider it the 3rd best Mario game next to SM64 and SMW.

I naysay. As much as I love Super Mario Bros 3 (and still own the NES, and GBA versions, as well as a ROM on my DS), I much prefer Little Nemo.

Now onto a new topic. What is your favorite powerups in SMB 3? Well here's mines.

Fire Flower - A classic Mario powerup that lets you shoot fire balls.

Starman - Another classic Mario powerup. Lets you become invincible for a limited time.

Raccon Leaf - You can fly weeeeeeee!

Frog Suit - Makes you not only swim better but also jump or leap even farther and hop just like a real frog!

Goomba's Shoe - You can stomp on certain enemies without getting hurt and makes you jump further and higher too!

Tanooki Suit - Just like the Raccoon Leaf except you can turn into a stone statue so you don't get hurt by enemies!

Hammer Brothers' Suit - Similar to the Fire Flower except its more powerfull and goes through walls! The best powerup yet!
